This sleek recumbent, produced in the late 1980's, features a drive system that has 15 speeds and no derailers. The steering is performed by sliding the controls right and left, while pushing the controls forward applies the brakes. An advantage of this type of steering is that in the event of a crash the rider is not trapped with the vehicle. Made from aluminum with plastic body work, the Corsa is so low that the manufacturer was compelled to warn riders not to ride it on the street.
