This installation references the biblical prophecy of the apocalypse, symbolized by riders on horseback which represent: 1. Conquest, 2. Slaughter, 3. Famine and 4. Death. Sane people must call attention to the rise of despots, dictators, the insanely greedy and those who would destroy civil society for self-interest. Civilization is fragile. We have seen countless nations, empires and civilizations flourish and vanish into oblivion. The Four Horsemen addresses the current state of humanity, a finite world possibly moving towards human extinction.
