Join Laura for a discussion of how her practice as a fine artist and career as an educator informs the educational direction of the Fine Art Department at ArtCenter. Laura and her faculty encourage students to explore making across a variety of disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, film/video, photography and digital imaging, as well as an array of digital hybrids. Experimentation, risk, and complexity are embedded into the very fabric of the work done in this department, fostering a healthy fearlessness amongst its students.

This session will culminate in a Q&A, offering you the chance to chat with Laura as well as ask questions of Tim Campos, ArtCenter’s Director of Recruitment Programs.
