Congratulations are plentiful throughout the campus community today as ArtCenter College of Design students are notified of 18 awards earned in the prestigious Core 77 Design Awards competition. Among the more than 200 designs honored by the Core 77 Design Awards jury teams this year, 16 were designed by ArtCenter students and recognized as winners, notables or runner-up.
Recognizing excellence in all areas of design enterprise, the Core77 Design Awards annually celebrates the richness of the design profession as well as the insight and perseverance of its practitioners.
“We’re incredibly proud of our students,” said Karen Hofmann, provost, ArtCenter College of Design. “This high-profile recognition from leaders in the design field is a tribute to the exemplary talent and dedication of our community of students, faculty and support staff.”
“It is very rewarding to receive this validation for innovative work that beautifully illustrates how design and education converge to make reality-based solutions with potential to positively impact lives,” Hofmann continued.
