The Writing Center

Many students here at Art Center have probably heard about the writing center but haven’t taken advantage of it. There is a misconception that the writing center is only for liberal arts class essays and for foreign students whose English is not their native language. While the writing center helps non-native speaking students with English and LAS essays, it offers much more services.  Much more.

The writing center is a place where any student can come for one on one help with cover letters and resumes.  It’s also a place for students uncomfortable with project presentation to get help with preparation and practice presenting with one of the tutors. The writing center has even helped students in the past with brainstorming for advertisement concepts.

Come to the writing center with your projects, resumes, storyboards, and even your essays and let a tutor help you refine them. The more you use it, the better your work will become.
