Jane McFadden

Humanities & Sciences


Jane McFadden is an art historian of modern and contemporary art whose work focuses on the interdisciplinary practices of the 1960s. Her work has been published in Grey Room, Art Journal, Modern Painters and X-tra. She is author of recent essays for Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA, 1945-1980 (Getty) and Ends of the Earth: Land Art to 1974 (MOCA). Her book Walter De Maria: Meaningless Work will be published by Reaktion Books, London in 2016. She serves as Chair, Humanities & Sciences at Art Center.
