Arts journalist and educator specializing in film history and the visual arts. Programmed "China''s New Cinema," the first Chinese film series at the Smithsonian Institution, in 1993; judge for San Francisco International Film Festival; author various art/exhibition monographs and catalogs; organizer talks and seminars for Pasadena Museum of California Art, Edward Cella Art + Architecture, Koplin del Rio Gallery, and others.
