BIOGRAPHY
Thea teaches in the Humanities and Design Sciences department and the Media Design Program. Her current research examines the history and politics of public, private, and non-profit efforts to foster a creative workforce in the United States. She teaches courses in nonfiction writing and popular culture. As Writing Director from 2004 to 2011 she oversaw the Writing Center, undergraduate writing courses, and writing across the curriculum. She will be on leave for Fall 2011.EDUCATION
