Biography

Christine Nasser's illustration and design experience includes a fashion and style background as art director for specialty retailer Nordstrom in Seattle. Seventeen magazine has featured her environmentally conscious graphics line sold at Fred Segal. She worked for 80s Pop artist Patrick Nagel as his art assistant on multiple projects. Her art direction and book design for publishers includes a series on Mexican Style—interior design, home decor, furniture, folk art and textiles. Illustration and design clients include L’Oreal, Max Factor, Redbook, Shape, Twentieth Century Fox and Vassarette among others.

As Surface Design track leader in the Illustration department, she supports students to influence the industry beyond the ordinary with a fresh modern voice through stylized illustration, taste-driven design, the decorative arts and elevated craft.
