Q
Academics

How many credits will I need to graduate?

A

Requirements to graduate with a bachelor of arts degree vary slightly by major: 120 units for Film, Fine Art, Illustration or Photography and Imaging; and 132 units for Advertising or Graphic Design. To graduate with a bachelor of science degree, you’ll need 144 units for Entertainment Design (except for the Game Design track which is 120 units), Environmental Design, Interaction Design, Product Design or Transportation Design. Totals include 45 credits of Humanities and Sciences—about a third of your classes—required for all undergraduate students to graduate.

Requirements to graduate with an MFA or MS degree vary from program to program and are outlined by individual departments but each requires completion of a thesis.
