Curriculum Delivery

Based on our Academic Priorities, the Fall 2020 curriculum will be delivered through the following methods.

Hillside Campus – These classes will be taught on the Hillside Campus. Enrolled students are expected to be in the Pasadena/Greater Los Angeles area to take these classes.

South Campus – These classes will be taught on the South Campus. Enrolled students are expected to be in the Pasadena/Greater Los Angeles area to take these classes.

Online – These classes will be taught entirely online and enrolled students can be located anywhere in the world to take these classes. Students must have a reliable internet connection and computer to successfully participate.

Online with Campus Facilities – These classes will be taught online but enrolled students will need to use campus facilities (shops, labs, and other resources) in order to complete out of class assignments. Enrolled students are expected to be in the Pasadena/Greater Los Angeles area to take these classes.

Online with Service Bureau – These classes will be taught online but enrolled students will need to use maker space resources to complete out of class assignments. This can be achieved through ArtCenter’s Service Bureau support (ordering and picking up projects curbside through the Library, Copy Center, Rapid Prototyping 3D & Laser Labs, some equipment through EMEC, the Student Store or other campus resource) - OR- this can be achieved through remote makerspaces sourced by each student. Enrolled students can attend these classes either in the Pasadena/Greater Los Angeles area -OR- anywhere in the world if they can find the necessary resources on their own.

Hybrid with Campus Access – These classes will be taught both on-campus and online and students may need to use campus facilities (shops, labs, and other resources) in order to complete out of class assignments. Enrolled students are expected to be in the Pasadena/Greater Los Angeles area to take these classes.
