This position provides administrative and project support to the security department with purchasing, billing, vendor and project management. Responsibilities include managing and tracking incident reporting, vehicle use, key request, request for access and project authorization request. The Operations Specialist will interact with students, faculty and staff to ensure service requests are being met and to the requester’s satisfaction. The Operations Specialist will also work with vendors on deliverables and work order completions.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting with frequent interruptions and distractions; extended periods of time viewing computer monitor; interactions with other individuals. Must be able to travel between buildings and campuses.
Vision: Must be able to have the visual capacity to perform activities such as preparing and reading reports, viewing a computer terminal and other normal office work with or without correction.
Hearing: Must be able to communicate effectively in the course of normal office communication or exchange ideas with or without correction.
