ArtCenter College of Design is seeking a dynamic full-time faculty member (rank of assistant professor, non-tenure track) to teach History of Technology and Industrial Design. The successful candidate will develop courses with an emphasis on technology since modernity. The candidate will teach a required course in the history of industrial design plus electives. The department seeks candidates with an interest in collaborative teaching with studio faculty.
Reports to: Chair of Humanities and Sciences
FLSA status: Exempt
Candidates will be required to submit a cover letter, CV with three references, ArtCenter application, and unofficial transcripts. Upon hire the successful candidate will be required to provide official transcripts.
